At
Bayview, we believe in quality, not quantity. We pick our sires and dams
with great care and strive to keep the Belgian Sheepdog a true working breed
that can be a wonderful family companion that can compete and win in the
conformation ring and performance events!

BAYVIEW'S
HISTORY
Our first Belgian
Sheepdog was purchased from Danielle Daugherty in 1979, Crocs Blancs Baron De
Lyon Am/Can CD. A few years later, we acquired his mother, Crocs Blancs Tesshad
Rimsky Am/Can CD.
My experience with
Belgians over the past 22 years includes conformation, obedience, and agility. I
have been an active member of the Belgian Sheepdog Club of America since 1982, I
have signed and abide by the BSCA Code of Ethics. I am also active with our
local Belgian Sheepdog club. I teach obedience classes at the Canine Community
Center and work as a field representative for Paws With A Cause, training
hearing and service dogs.
Our foundation bitch, Am/Can CH Avatar’s Sheena of the Jungle Am/Can/UKC CD HIC CGC (bred by Danielle Daugherty and Barbara Swisher) grew up with our daughter, Liz. The girls enjoyed playing “dress-up”, circus dog, and watching cartoons together. “Sheena’s” offspring have been successful in conformation (BSCA National 1996 - Best In Specialty Show, Group placers, and Select award of merits), obedience (High In Trial winners, Utility Dogs); agility (Master Agility dogs); and tracking (Tracking Excellent).
My goals for breeding are to produce a healthy beautiful dog that will excel at being a wonderful companion for their owner. I try to match the needs of the owner with a puppy that will compliment those needs. All puppies are sold with a purchase agreement, contract, instructions for care and AKC registration papers.

Gabby is the Dam of the Winners Dog and Winners Bitch at the 2001 BSCA National Specialty. Her willingness to please and intelligence are just 2 of her greatest attributes. Always willing and wanting to play any game - she is a joy to train and live with. She has moved herself up to "Queen" of the house, ruling everyone with a "fair" paw!
